Let me introduce you to the elephant in the room… No not me, but sex, pornography, marriage issues, you know, the heavy stuff. That’s me! The one that talks about the big things. I mean, why not? We’re all thinking about it!  When we talk about these big issues we can actually grow, learn and develop a personal understanding of where we stand and why.

I’m also the wife of a very patient husband who would happily choose a quiet lifestyle if it wasn’t for his loud and outspoken wife!

I’m mum to my three sons who would probably love having a parent who chooses to talk about puberty, relationships and the harmful effects of prolonged screen time, if they knew what was good for them!

I’m also a psychology student, so I’ve learnt about the value of research, early mornings and lectures that finish half an hour earlier than scheduled.  I hope to support individuals, families and children in addressing issues that hinder them from living life to their full potential.

Fundamentally, I’m a Christian. I love Jesus and am reminded daily that His grace is sufficient for me.  He led me here and I will continue to walk as He guides.

I live on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne.  I love beach walks (when the weather warms up… eventually!) and spending time with family and friends.

So, thank you for stopping by.  Explore the resources, read the book with your children, download the Action Plan and start building the conversation into everyday language.  There has never been a better time, and there’s never been a generation that needed it more.

I know it can be hard to face the elephant in the room, but you might just find that the elephant is just as afraid of you (especially if you’re a mouse!)  and that addressing these heavy topics becomes a lifted burden rather than an additional one.
